Mud Pie Gallery was established in 1974 by owners/artists Dave and Cheri Posedel.  They  have continued in the tradition of high-fire stoneware, hand thrown on a potters wheel.  Dave and Cheri pride themselves on the variety of finely developed glazes ranging from subtle earth tones to high gloss blues and mauves and fire to a durable 2400 F.

Their whimsical sense of humor is depicted in their art, and they are very proud of their personalized line of stoneware.  All their work is lead-free, oven proof and dishwasher safe.

Dave and Cheri have developed a full line of functional stoneware, from mugs, to planters, to full dinner sets.

Their studio/gallery is located in Salem, Oregon’s capital city, where they have enjoyed the benefits of having their 2 children, Kelsey and Ben, and their 4 grandkids close by.  They show their pottery at selected NW Galleries and travel to a few art shows each year.  We hope you enjoy browsing our site, and would love to hear from you with questions and suggestions.
